Sacha Baron Cohen pranked attendees of a right-wing rally by pretending to be a country singer and got the attendees to sing along to a racist [sic] song about injecting politicians with the “Wuhan flu” and chopping them up “like the Saudis do.”
Disguised as a bluegrass singer, the comedian managed to infiltrate the “March For Our Rights 3” rally that was held on Saturday by the right-wing militia group Washington Three Percenters, according to Variety.
He gained access to the stage by reportedly pretending to be a potential sponsor, then launched into an offensive song about Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Dr. Anthony Fauci. In video footage that emerged on social media, the singer, identified by Variety as Cohen, soon had members of the audience singing along and cheering.
“Obama, what we gonna do? Inject him with the Wuhan flu. Hillary Clinton, what we gonna do? Lock her up like we used to do. Fauci don’t know his head from his ass. He must be smoking grass. I ain’t lying, it ain’t no jokes,” he sang.
“Corona is a liberal hoax. Dr. Fauci, what we gonna do? Inject him with the Wuhan flu. WHO, what we gonna do? Chop ’em up like the Saudis do,” he continued.
Cohen reportedly had his own security stationed nearby to prevent him from being removed from the event but he packed up and went home after members in the crowd began booing and calling him a racist, according to The Seattle Times.
“We got catfished. There was a singer up here that does not reflect the values of the people that attended there or the organizer,” said Allen Acosta, an organizer of the event.
“We got had, I guess that’d be the best way to put it,” added Matt Marshall, founder of Three Percenters. “We got punked.”
