Turning to Asia and accelerating the reorientation to Asian markets is a strategic direction for the Russian Federation.

This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Economy Reshetnikov to journalists in Bangkok.

Moscow is aware of the long-term nature of Western sanctions against it, the minister explained.

“We will make every effort to integrate into the value chain together with Asian countries, together with Arab countries, together with South America,” Reshetnikov said.

According to him, new large independent economic centers will appear in the world.

“The events that are taking place now will push the general departure from the dollar currency system and the settlement system. Alternative systems will be developed, and at the same time, versatile technological development will take place,” the minister concluded.
