Giving Trump a gold-plated pager was the most arrogantly cynical joke Netanyahu could play on him on so many levels.
First, and least important is that it had to be gold-plated to play up to Trump’s notorious, ostentatious bad taste, evident in the interior decoration of his residences in NYC and Mar-A-Lago (now known as Gaza-A-Lago), where everything is gilded.
Second, the pager may be interpreted as a threat to never-ever step out of line and third as a symbol for the world to understand that Trump may be called instantly and at all times like a whore whom the pimp can reach whether she is, in his case on the golf course or in the WH.
It will be interesting to see how Erdogan is dealt with…

It is assumed that because one is rational and a skilled observer, then so would be Trump. Better to live in hope than die in despair ??
Trump is accustomed to dealing with real estate folks in trouble and who, with the help of his Jew friends muscle them out for pennies on the dollar. Yet, how many times has he declared bankruptcy ! He can bully the smaller Latin States but with Putin, Xi and the other Brics leaders he will be told to f’ off.
He is in the big league now but still locked into the NYC bully boy loudmouth mode. The fellow makes enemies into bitter enemies and friends into enemies.
Trump is like all over the place !! Canada, Greenland, Panama Canal, Gaza, Cartels, ending the Ukraine mess in 24 hours, trade wars blah blah and more blah. As fast as one pronouncement is exposed in minutes as utter shit, he barfs up another torrent of vomit as a replacement. According to him the earth spins and tilts on its axis because HE made it so.
Everything with the guy has to be a WIN for him, always an impossibility in the real world. I think he is going to find out that the Ringmaster of a circus may be the centre of attention and cheers during the show but afterwards just another clown in the back room.

Russia hasn’t taken Kharkiv which is 30 minutes from the Russian border.
Ukraine has been taking out an oil depot or refinery about every week.
So no I don’t see Russia taking a hostile port city that overwhelmingly voted for Zelensky. At current rates Ukraine could take out most of their refineries before that happens.
Putin most likely wants to raise his “mission accomplished” banner and just hope everyone forgets that he said the war was about stopping the Eastward expansion of NATO. Well that goal has failed due to Finland joining.
