So, why India attacks Pakistan on the unsubstantiated accusation of a terrorist act by some groupie from Pakistan? A war between two nuclear powers, which, by the way, was in the air as most likely since the early 1980s.
One red flag is the open overtures made to Modi by the US, since day one of his presidency in 2014. The grandfather-looking Modi is in fact a quite vicious dictator of India. As the chief minister of Gujarat province he was complicit in the killing of some 2,000 Muslims, which set him immediately as a friend of Israel. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. In 2020 he caused more deaths among the Muslims, while his draconian “anti-Covid” measures caused, according to WHO, some 4.2 million deaths of Indians.
His demonetisation of banknotes in 2016 and introduction of the Goods and Services Tax in 2017 caused devastation among the Indian middle class, again, mostly Muslims.
So we have the illiberal Modi getting a special treatment by one American president after another. No accusations of undemocratic rule against him.
On the contrary, Trump is rewarding Modi with his first tariff waiving wand right in the middle of Modi’s unprovoked aggression against a stunned neighbor. It sets India against China, at the time when Apple was relocating all iPhone production from China to India.
This is now part of the war against China. It starts not in Taiwan, where everyone expected a military confrontation. The war is triggered in Pakistan, a strong China ally.
The war of India against Pakistan on fabricated pretends is the war of the US against China.
