Jandad Jahani
Jandad Jahani is an Afghan writer, researcher, and former university lecturer based in Berlin. His work focuses on Afghanistan’s politics, society, economy, education, and the lived experiences of Afghan people through decades of war, displacement, and political change.
Jandad Jahani has worked with Afghan and international media organizations as a reporter, editor, writer, translator, and media project manager. He has also taught economics and management at university level and remains involved in educational and cultural initiatives, including language, digital learning, and Afghan women’s education. He has completed a master’s degree from India. His writing combines political analysis, historical reflection, and human-cantered storytelling, with particular attention to state failure, social change, and the unfinished struggle for justice and dignity in Afghanistan.
