Kevin D. Ming

Dr. Kevin Ming is a public anthropologist with over two decades of ethnographic research,  activism, and teaching in the area of social-environmental justice, focused on labor, migration, gender, and sustainability issues in Asia.

He received his PhD in cultural anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh and MA in Asian Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.  A former Fulbright-Hays Fellow with specializations in spatial politics, (im)mobilities, labor, gender, and sustainability, Ming is currently an Associate Professor at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan.
