Lavrov: Nazi Genocide Doesn’t Give Israel Impunity

Spread the Word

Israel should not think that the suffering of Jews during World War II gives it free rein in foreign policy, particularly when it comes to the hostilities in Gaza, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.

Speaking at a press conference on the results of Moscow’s diplomacy in 2023 on Thursday, Lavrov reiterated his support for the creation of a Palestinian state. The decades-long failure to do this is one of the key reasons for the current instability in the Middle East and tensions between Palestinians and Israelis, he added.

The foreign minister noted that Russia had immediately condemned the attack on Israel by Hamas on October 7. However, after the hostilities began, some Israeli officials went so far as to call the residents of Gaza “animals” without facing any backlash from the West, he added.

Israelis can’t… now do anything they want because they suffered during World War II. Yes, there was the Holocaust, it was a terrible crime, but there was also the genocide of all peoples in the Soviet Union.

Lavrov added that the Soviet people had suffered no less as they were exterminated in the same Nazi concentration camps as the Jews, with both people dying from starvation side-by-side in besieged Leningrad.

“According to this logic, we can do whatever we want. That won’t work if we want to systematically uphold international law,”he added.

Lavrov has no clue. The current war in Israel has nothing to do with the Holocaust. The Gazans do NOT want a “2 state solution”: it has been offered to them several times by Israel and they refused. They want to annihilate the Jews: ALL Jews, then Christians, Hindus, and then anyone left who doesn’t embrace their religion, as directed by their “holy book”.

No, Linda, you are deliberately lying. What Hamas is not willing to do is to recognize Israel on 79 percent of the original Palestinian land in exchange for a meager 21 percent.

They are willing to accept a Palestinian state on 21 percent, and having the option to negotiate further on the basis of the 1948 terms, which were roughly 50/50 percent to both sides.

You are either deliberately lying, Steve, or you are tragically uninformed. Hamas will NEVER accept and recognize Israel: they take the quran literally and intend to slaughter every single Jew. They don’t “support” the Palestinians: they use them as human shields – especially the children, and they swipe all the food, fuel, medicine and miscellaneous aid Israel sends to the Gazans.
Original “Palestinian land”? Ha! The Jews have been there for over 4000 years. Muslims weren’t invented then.

Below is today’s statement by Hamas. 4,000 years? Not even 100. The Palestinians are the old inhabitants, not the Khazars.

Saba News:
Head of the Islamic Resistance Movement abroad (Hamas) Khaled Mashal affirmed on Wednesday that Hamas and the Palestinian people reject the term of the two-state solution.

He stressed that the Palestinian people demand liberation, freedom from occupation, independence, and the establishment of a Palestinian state.

Mashal said in Ammar podcast said “The West is talking that the October 7 battle opened a horizon for the issue of political vision, and from here they are returning to their old commodity, which is the two-state solution,” explaining that Hamas does not accept the term two-state solution, which is rejected, because it means that we have a promised state at the time. What is required is that we recognize the legitimacy of the other state, which is the Zionist entity, and this is categorically rejected.”

Mashal confirmed that Hamas and the Palestinian people will not accept the final solution which indicated 1967 borders, explaining 21% is practically a fifth of Palestine “so this cannot be accepted.”

He explained that “Hamas and the Palestinian forces from an early time, as we made clear in our political document in 2017, that in order to form the basis for a joint meeting and a joint national program with the Palestinian forces and the Arab position, we accept a state on the 1967 borders with al-Quds as its capital with complete independence and with the right of return without recognizing the legitimacy of the Zionist entity.”

Mashal pointed out “This position comes to facilitate Palestinian and Arab consensus at this stage, but without giving up any part of our right or our land and without recognizing the usurping entity.”

Oh Steve, you are so ignorant of the history of Israel and Palestine! Even Wikipedia would laugh at your theory. The Jews are the indigenous people of Israel, and while they have been driven out by attackers several time, there has always been a Jewish presence for over 4000 years. Jesus, born in Jerusalem 2023 years ago, was a Jew. Certain areas were named Palestine in 390, so the Jews were the original Palestinians. Mohammad wasn’t born until 570 CE. I suggest you subscribe to a few Jewish sites: AISH, World Israel News and Jewish Journal are excellent and present information that Mainstream Media (or Algora Blog) don’t want you to see.

And you are such a troll. As you very well know, the Khazars, of which you most probably are one (which makes you an ethnic Turk, not a Hebrew), who are stealing the land from the Palestinians’ (who are the original Hebrews) have nothing to do with the Biblical literature which is mostly fiction anyway. There is not a single archaeological inscription in Hebrew found in the entire region, only in Greek.

Oy vey, Jewish mama teaching history. 4,000 years ago? Let’s make it 6,000, since you like the number 6,000x so much.

So, Linda, you are just saying “so the Jews were the original Palestinians” — That is the same thing as saying that the Palestinians were the original “jews”.

What’s your problem?

As an ardent admirer of Lavrov, what a shame that he feels the need to hide behind this artificial patriotism and fake history. Firstly, there was NO ‘nahtsie’ genocide of anybody, and certainly not jews. There was a jewish genocide of Russians from 1917 and then there was a jewish genocide of Germans in the 1930s and 40s, with war being officially declared in 1933 and manufactured through propaganda into the hot war declared by jewish-controlled Britain in 1939.

[…]

“While the Zionists try to make the rest of the world believe that the national consciousness of the Jew finds its satisfaction in the creation of a Palestinian state, the Jews again slyly dupe the dumb Goyim.

It doesn’t even enter their heads to build up a Jewish state in Palestine for the purpose of living there; all they want is a central organisation for their international word swindler, endowed with its own sovereign rights and removed from the intervention of other states: a haven for convicted scoundrels and a university for budding crooks.

Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf Volume 1 Chapter 11

[…]

Another translation (Thomas Dalton):

“When the Zionists try to make the rest of the world believe that the new national consciousness of the Jews will be satisfied by the establishment of a Palestinian state, the Jews thereby cleverly dupe the simple-minded goyim.

They haven’t the slightest intention of building up a Jewish state in Palestine so as to live there. What they really want is a central organization for their international world-swindle, one with sovereign rights and freedom from outside control–in other words, a refuge for convicted lowlifes and a training ground for budding criminals.”
